New in v1.2.0

Pro Tip: Better Night-Time Watching with Private Listening.

We are excited to announce that QuickRemote version 1.2.0 is now live, featuring the highly requested Private Listening mode. QuickRemote is currently the first and only Windows Roku Remote app to offer this feature, allowing you to route your TV's audio directly through your PC's speakers or headphones.

How to Enable Private Listening

Enabling Private Listening is simple. Once you are connected to your Roku device, look for the MODE button in the volume control section of the app. Clicking this button will toggle Private Listening on and off. When active, your Roku will stop sending audio to the TV speakers and start streaming it to your PC.

🌙 Pro Tip for Night-Time Watching

To prevent the TV volume from accidentally turning back on (for example, if your computer disconnects or if you click the MODE button again), mute the TV before starting Private Listening Mode.

This ensures that if the stream stops for any reason, the TV remains silent, protecting the sleep of anyone else in the house!

Full Audio Control

With QuickRemote, you have total control over your audio environment. You can control the volume for both the TV (via the standard volume buttons) and your PC audio directly within the app. This makes it the perfect companion for late-night movie marathons or gaming sessions where you don't want to disturb others.

Why Use QuickRemote for Private Listening?

While the official Roku mobile app offers private listening, it requires you to use your phone. If you are already at your desk or using your laptop, QuickRemote allows you to keep your phone on the charger and manage everything from your Windows machine. It's faster, more integrated, and now more feature-rich than ever.

Experience Private Listening on Windows.

Update to version 1.2.0 today and enjoy the only Windows Roku Remote with built-in audio streaming.
