We've added a highly optimized search bar at the very top of the Channels tab. It features real-time filtering—as you type "N", the grid instantly narrows down to Netflix, Newsy, and NBA. It's the fastest way to navigate a massive Roku library from a PC.
Sub-Second Latency
Launching an app from the grid is now faster than ever. By optimizing the ECP (External Control Protocol) calls, clicking an icon in QuickRemote sends the launch command to your Roku with sub-second latency. It's often faster than using the physical remote because you aren't waiting for the home screen to render as you navigate through rows of tiles.
Visual Polish with Native Icons
To make the grid even more intuitive, we've implemented high-quality icon retrieval. Your Roku's channel icons are now displayed clearly in the grid, giving you the same visual cues you're used to on your TV, but within the compact footprint of our Windows utility.
